Traceability to the metre

Every roll carries a code that identifies the coating run, the slit width and the date. A claim is registered against that code, not against an invoice — so a warranty follows the car rather than the shop that fitted it.

The dynamic-matte process is covered by a utility model patent held by the manufacturer. It is the reason the matte level can be made to order instead of picked from a fixed list.

The matte line is the only one in the range that is built on a patented process rather than a process we simply do well.
